5 STEPS TO TRANSFORM SURRENDER EMOTIONS

A blog post by: Alejandro Chabán

How many times have you left an important project? How many times have you said enough? How many times have you quit, without trying again?

Keep going, but never give up and even more when it comes to our dreams. The ability we have to achieve our goals depends on the ability we have to persevere and try again. I repeat: TRYING IT ONCE AGAIN … this must be your slogan, life’s phrase, mantra, whatever you want to call it.

Take action following these 5 steps:

1. KEEP GOING FOR YOU TO WIN

Never give up. Sometimes you just need a push, a cup of focus, or little of persistence to achieve it. Who knows! Maybe the next key is the one that opens the door.

It is important that you don’t lose your purpose in life. We are not weak before we felt. Each fall creates an opportunity and makes us develop courage and strength for the drive.

“I learned that courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. People with courage are not those who are not afraid, but those who conquer it.” Nelson Mandela

2. STRUGGLE IS A NEW WAY TO IMPROVE

The word opportunity in Japanese means crisis, for them a chaos is an opportunity. Basically, you can get something positive out of any struggle you encounter on your way. You have two simple ways.

If you succeed the problem, you will learn that you have been able to do it. But if you don’t? You will always get a learning experience that for the future.

I have always thought that crises can help you develop new skills and discover new methods of work.

3. THINK BIG, BUT DON’T FORGET SHORT TERM GOALS

Once I asked a friend, how do you finish a marathon and he said: “I just thought I had to take one step, then another, then another, but I did not leave Los Angeles thinking that I had to get to Europe” Referring himself to the goal. Precisely, you have to plan small steps to achieve better goals.

4. FOCUS ON TODAY

If your goal is to lose weight, when you get out of bed think “today I’m not going to eat that chocolate that I like so much”. Focus on today’s activities. If you think that you will never eat chocolate again, you will end up giving up, but if you focus only on today, it should be easier.

5. SUCCESS IS NOT A STRAIGHT LINE

The road to success is not straight, it looks like millions of zig-zags in multiple directions, can you imagine that?

I want to share this phrase that summarizes it up:

“You have to go out and fight, you have to find the positive things in life and fight for your place”
